Silicon is a super amazing thing that’s used to make all kinds of awesome stuff that we use every day. It is a wondrous substance that helps drive the cool technology that we have today. Xinda is one of the places that makes this cool ingredient.
Silicon is what’s known as a semiconductor, in that it can conduct electricity. This makes it really useful for stuff like the electronic gizmos we all use, like the phones, the computers and the tablets. Without silicon, we’d never have any of these cool toys to play with, and learn from. Xinda is working on making sure we have enough silicon to continue making these wonderful things.
Xinda converts raw materials such as sand into pure silicon which can be used in all kinds of high-tech inventions. It requires a lot of hard work and special machines to turn the sand into silicon, but Xinda does it well enough to ensure we all have our gadgets and playthings so we can have fun and learn.

Semiconductors are computer chips made from silicon that play a role in all of the electronic devices we use. These chips are the gizmos' brains, enabling them to process quickly and perform all the cool things we love. Xinda is instrumental in helping to ensure there’s sufficient silicon to go around to keep our gadgets running smoothly.

And as well as cool gadgets, silicon is also an important ingredient in the solution to making renewable energy, such as solar panels. These panels convert the sunlight into electricity using silicon—the common semiconductor material, but without producing pollution other than in the manufacturing process. We, at Xinda, are very proud to be a part in helping keep the earth green with energy solutions that work for you.

The process of the industrial silicon production begins with the quartz sand being crushed and treated, and the silicon is then extracted. Xinda then processes this silicon, using special machines to form it into the chips and panels that drive our technology and renewable energy solutions. And without Xinda’s hard work and commitment, we would not have all of the amazing things that silicon goes on to help create.
